Overview
The Keysight N1077A extracts a timing reference from optical or electrical data for sampling-based signal measurements. Its listed continuous symbol-rate coverage is 50 MBd to 32 GBd. Electrical inputs use a 2.92 mm connector arrangement for differential or single-ended signals, while optical options determine fiber and wavelength support. The recovered-clock output is listed from 50 MHz to 16 GHz, with an additional auxiliary output. Adjustable PLL loop bandwidth and tracking functions allow the recovery behavior to match the signal and measurement setup.
